1. Overton County Court meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of every month at 6:00pm at the court house. 2. Pickett County Court meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of every month at 6:00pm at the community center. 3. Overton/Pickett County E-911 Does Issue Electrical Permits Office Hours For Permits Are Monday Through Friday From 08:00am To 4:00 pm 4. Overton/Pickett County E-911 Does Not Issue Burn Permits. To Obtain A Burn Permit You Need To Contact Forestry. Their Number Is 931-823-6538 for Overton County and 931-864-3466 for Pickett County. Their office is not open on weekends. If you need a burn permit for the weekend you will need to call during the week. The sheriff's dept. can not give you permission to burn on weekends without a permit. 5.
